Terms of Service

1. Independent App. MyShiftPal is an independent app built to support shift workers and their families. It is not an official app of, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any employer or project.

2. Acceptance of Terms. By accessing or using MyShiftPal, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

3. User Responsibilities. You agree to use MyShiftPal lawfully and respectfully. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit, for keeping your login details confidential, and for all activity on your account. Harassment, abuse, impersonation or illegal activity is prohibited.

4. Forum & Content Moderation. The forum is for practical tips, advice and peer support only. No complaints, criticism or negative comments about employers, contractors or individuals are permitted. No sensitive, internal or security-related information may be shared. All posts are reviewed by our moderator before going live, and posts that break the rules will be removed without notice. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that repeatedly breach these rules.

5. User Content. You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant MyShiftPal a limited, non-exclusive licence to display and distribute that content solely to operate the service. You are solely responsible for content you submit; MyShiftPal is not responsible for user-generated content.

6. Not Medical Advice. MyShiftPal is a wellbeing tool, not a medical service. Check-ins, AI insights, mental-health and gambling-support content are for general support only and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological or financial advice. Always seek qualified professional help where needed; in an emergency call 999 or Samaritans on 116 123.

7. Data & Privacy. We collect and process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. By using MyShiftPal you consent to that processing.

8. Limitation of Liability. MyShiftPal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including reliance on user-generated content or third-party links.

9. Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
